About Gretchen

Built for the People
Who Are Always "On"

I built Quantum Blue Nursing for the working professionals, the night-shift nurses, the students juggling two jobs, the parents running on empty. The people who show up every day for everyone else — but haven't found the right moment to show up for themselves.

I understand that life doesn't pause for a 9-to-5 appointment schedule. That's why I offer flexible evening and weekend hours, fully via telehealth, so that getting psychiatric care doesn't mean sacrificing the rest of your life to get it.

"There is nothing wrong with you. Your brain may just work differently — and with the right support, that difference can become a strength."

A Personal Note About Adult ADHD

About two years ago, I was diagnosed with adult ADHD — and it changed everything I thought I knew about myself. I could show up fully for my patients and career, and yet forget an appointment, lose my keys, or feel completely overwhelmed by a simple to-do list at home. Looking back, so much made sense.

ADHD in adults rarely looks like the restless child who can't sit still. It looks like a driven, capable person whose professional life thrives while their personal life feels quietly out of control. The depression and self-doubt that accompany undiagnosed ADHD get mistaken for a character flaw — rather than a treatable condition.

That experience drives everything I do. I want to identify and treat this as early as possible — through thorough diagnostic evaluation, honest conversations, and genuine curiosity about how your brain works. There is nothing wrong with you.

My Approach to Care

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, open communication, and a deep respect for your goals. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment. Every person who comes through my door — virtually — has a unique story, a unique brain, and a unique set of needs.

I combine my dual training in both psychiatric and family medicine to see you as a whole person. Mental health doesn't exist in isolation from physical health, and I bring that full-picture perspective to every evaluation and every follow-up.

What I Specialize In

Adult ADHD

Comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for high-functioning adults navigating focus, organization, and executive function challenges — including those who weren't diagnosed in childhood.

Anxiety & Panic

Individualized treatment for generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety, and chronic stress — with a focus on understanding the root cause and building a sustainable plan.

Depression & Mood

Thoughtful, evidence-based care for major depression, persistent depressive disorder, and mood dysregulation. We work together to understand what's happening and what will actually help.

Stress & Mental Health Conditions

Psychiatric care for stress-related conditions, emotional exhaustion, and mental health concerns affecting daily functioning. We identify contributing factors and build a clinical plan to restore balance.

Psychopharmacology

Evidence-based prescribing and ongoing medication management — with full education on what you're taking, why, what to expect, and how we'll monitor your progress and safety.

Family Medicine Foundation

Dual FNP-BC training provides a whole-person lens — understanding how physical health, hormones, sleep, and lifestyle intersect with mental health for a truly comprehensive approach.

How I Work

What You Can Expect
From Every Visit

01

You Will Be Heard

Every appointment starts with genuine listening — not rushing to a diagnosis. Your history, your context, your concerns all matter. We take the time to understand your full picture before making recommendations.

02

Honesty Over Comfort

I believe in honest, transparent communication about diagnoses, medications, and treatment options. You deserve to fully understand your care — including the benefits, the risks, and the realistic timelines.

03

Care Designed Around Your Life

Evening and weekend appointments, 100% telehealth, and flexible scheduling because your mental health care shouldn't require you to rearrange your entire life to access it.

04

A Partnership, Not a Prescription

Treatment isn't something I do to you — it's something we build together. Your goals, your comfort level, and your feedback shape every decision we make throughout your care.
